Why I Prefer to Get Evening Dresses Online

When it comes to attending parties and social events, I prefer getting my evening dresses online. The most consistent reason I reject half of the party invitations is that I simply don’t have the time to shop for evening dresses, all the more for a fancy and intimidating cocktail dress.

I am a born shopper, but not so much for clothes. I don’t exactly know why, but I don’t enjoy spending time in change rooms as all the other women do. I get how they want to try different dresses to see if it looks good on their complexion, but I don’t know why I should subject myself to the same shopping experience. I mean, I know my size and the colors that complement me the best, so I don’t think the claustrophobia-inducing fitting rooms or cubicles would help me anywhere.

Having said that, I admit sometimes I envy their enthusiasm when I see them lugging around six to seven dresses at one time and waiting for their turn to try them out. However, the convenience of getting those same dresses online and having the company deliver them to my doorstep sure beats having to muster up the same level of energy as they do to shop.
